No real difference between Absolions and Absolutes
Paint comes off easily
Adidas Predator Absolion TRX SG - Upon buying the Warrior version (worn by Becks) I have worn them more then 2 times a wekk on a regular basis. Unlike my previous boots (f50+'s), they have held up very well, although the silver paint on the toe has peeled off, forcing me to repaint it time and time again.
The boots were cheap, costing me less then £65.00, including innersoles and stain protection spray.
The rubber fins on the side of the boot do help slightly with curling the ball, but don't believe that they'll help you to score from corners, nothing can make up for an inabiltiy to curls the ball, not even the predator technology.
The tongue is shorter again, but it doesn't really affect the boot overall, and the elestic strap is shorter again, but so far it hasn't shown any sign of weakness.
Overall the boot is a good quality product that will keep you in good stead for a long while, although you may wish to stop at homebase or somewhere to buy some paint.
