General Comments

The Hut in Ravenshead Chef & Brewer restaurant used to be such a great place for a mid-week meal. Now the food is disgusting. Last night we had a mushroom pasta dish floating in brown mushroom water with cooked rocket appearing as gunge, and a chicken dish floating in a red tasteless gravy. The specials are no longer regularly changed. Staff are very young, inexperienced and poorly trained. Our meal was banged down and the waiter marched off with no communication at all, and it wasn't a busy period. Staff on the bar were clearly inexperienced and unable to cope with customers requests. They were talking among themselves and getting orders wrong. I had to ask 3 times for a tray, and the bar was swimming with beer. There is no longer a good ambiance. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO WHAT WAS A VERY GOOD PUB?
