General Comments

Praia Da Rocha in the Algarve is a fabulous place for a holiday. A lot of people say its Ballymun in the sun; yes, there are a lot of high buildings, but this does not take anything away from it. The beach is drop dead gorgeous. There is a football pitch, a basket ball court, and all on the beach.

Now to the real stuff - pubs!!! When you leave Club Praia Da Rocha the first pub you come to is Dalys Irish Sports Bar who do a wicked breakfast, and they serve food all day. We had super time in this pub. You start here and finish here. Just up the hill (you have to be fit to make it up this) you come to a lovely pub called Farmers. They do the best stuffed potatoes around! Further along the strip is a bar called On The Rocks. It is a disco by night, and by day you can sit outside with a cold drink. There are many more bars in this fabulous resort. The top one for me was Dalys, as they also have pool tables, darts and great entertainment. It is a real family bar.

I am looking forward to September 2006 to holiday there again.
