A great product if it actually lasts

General Comments

I bought my AV480 in November 2004, it died completely the first time in June 2005. Archos replaced it and its now dead again and they refuse to replace it. So it looks as though I have paid £450 for a product which went down with the exact same fault twice in 18 months.

By way of compensation they offered to sell me a new AV5100 at a reduced price of £400. These people are insane.

Save yourself a lot of grief, stay away from archos unless you enjoy flushing your hard earned cash straight down the toilet.
