Good Points
Easy to order from website. Relatively easy to lay. Made sure that I'd ordered the correct amount. Delivered on time. Excellent results!

Bad Points
Quite hard work to get it right if you're no good with a spade! Need to get your measurements right - although they do phone you up to check you've done it right. Not the cheapest (although they reckon to be the best)

General Comments
Rolawn Medallion Turf: Not accustomed to laying lawns (not exactly green fingered!) but having bought a new house I decided to try and improve my lawn. A friend told me to use Rolawn, as he reckoned they were the best, so I tried them out. They certainly weren't the cheapest, so if I hadn't had assurances about the quality, I might not have used them.
The website was pretty easy to use, although I did have to double check the area of my lawn as it is a bit oddly shaped. There was a calculation guide which helped me to figure out how to do it. After I'd ordered, they actually phoned me up to go through my order with me, and how it would work. Because the turf is of a particular kind, they arrange delivery with you, and make it clear that you have to lay the turf within 24 hours or it will die. Delivery went exactly as planned, and when it arrived I was able to lay the turf without too much hassle (although I had more experienced help!)
The end result was pleasingly neat and tidy - much more than any of my previous lawns, so I was very pleased. It is very, very green (fortunately the hosepipe ban hasn't reached us) and it was certainly free from weeds and discolouration.
Laying turf isn't the easiest thing to do, but if you're prepared to give it a bash, I suspect you could do a lot worse.
