Good Points
Heavy as a really heavy thing. Complex and challenging

Bad Points
Bit repetetive. No details on the inlay card...At all!

General Comments
'Nothing' is the latest album by 'Meshuggah', and the first i've heard. From the off, it's brutal stop/start riffing which takes some getting used to. But once you're hooked, you're hooked! It has the strange ability to convey not only super tight musicianship between the drummer and guitarists, but also a 'random' feel, as if they were all playing in different rooms without hearing each other! This is not an album for Bon Jovi fans, yet is more accesible than most 'extreme metal'. Production is top notch to-boot. Only a slight veer towards repetition (pretty much all the songs feature staccato riffing) marrs this otherwise great album.
