Good Points

Overall, just a very fun car, not just to drive, but to own. Accelerates stupendously, and handles even better.


Bad Points

A lot of rattles in the cabin, small back row (obviously), rough suspension, although I don't mind it since it increases handling


General Comments

I always enjoy making grocery runs in the Mini Cooper S, just to get behind the wheel. The interior is pretty neat, like a retro spaceship, but as said above, it has a lot of rattles. If necessary, you can fold down the rear seats, and the little MINI can actually hold a fair amount of cargo. Ive been able to fit an entire drum set in there. We had a warning light on the dash, and drove it down to Bob Smith BMW/MINI in LA. It was supposed to take less than an hour to fix the light, but we also asked if he could get rid of some of the rattles. After 6 hours, a woman came out and said it should only be another hour until the light was fixed. We said to just forget the rattles, and left as soon as possible.     The rattles have gone on the later models. My 2005 Mini Cooper S is as quiet as a mouse, with not a single rattle.
