Good Points

Sexy clam shell model - Great looks and cute, and what's more, it even has expandable memory card up to 1Gb, and a truck load of features.

Bad Points

The resolution is not great (128x168)
Battery life, as always with SE's is a bit dud
The monochrome sub-display (101x80) when the flip is closed
Pictures taken with the camera look a bit blurred

General Comments

The Sony Ericsson Z530i mobile phone is just fabulous! It is cute and sturdy. Add to that the most good looking calm shell model around (too hot to handle).

You can take video and photos, but the camera quality isn't that great, but don't take my word for it, as I am too pessimistic at times. The resolution is almost equal to that of a Nokia 6600. It is also one of the very few Sony Ericsson's that can be extended with a memory card of up to 1Gb.

I bought my SE Z530i mobile phone 2 days ago, and usually by now I am tried of a new mobile phone, but not with this!. It really is worth every penny.

Well done Sony. My friends love this phone too. I DEFINITELY recommend this beauty to anyone interested in an economic buy with good features.

What you forget to add is that the Sony Ericsson Z530i does not come with an installation disk. The Sony Ericsson Help Desk are completely unhelpful and couldn't care less. My daughter spent £29.99 on a USB cable so she could transfer some music on to her phone. It keeps asking for an installation disk and S/E do not provide this with the phone upon purchase (although most other S/E mobile models have one).

Basically, I am not at all impressed with their help desk. It's a case of, well you bought the phone, we've had your money, no go away! If anyone has worked out how to get their own music onto the phone, I'd love to hear from you. I am not paying to download music from the S/E website which I already have on CD!
