The resort is absolutely perfect for the type of holiday we wanted. It's great for shopping, sunbathing and swimming on the beach, and the bars are excellent. The people are friendly in the bars and restaurants, but not in the supermarkets, but with what they get paid, who blames them?
Go on the south tour and you won't be disappointed! You get to go to the Blue Lagoon, Tamifaya volcanoes and a vineyard. The beaches are really good for sunbathing, which is a good thing, as the hotel pool is full of kids.
The room was cleaned all the time, which was really good.
Bad Points
Only had one cockroach in the room.
You don't get much hot water.
General Comments
Costa Teguise in Lanzarote is a good resort if you don't want to go to clubs at night, but there are still plenty of bars close to the Aparthotel Puerto Tahiche to keep you happy. If you go to Porto Celero, the yellow submarine is good. I wouldn't recommend going on the catamaran as it looked like they were squeezing people on like sardines. We are going again this year in May, and we are looking forward to Teguise market and going on the Cesar 2 boat from Arrecife, plus maybe learning more about Cesar Menrique.
Look out for the two Aparthotel Puerto Tahiche cats, which we christened George (grey and loves Ham) and Tripod (3 legs and makes lots of noise).
