Good Points
Lovely roomy cabin and the slightly higher driving position more than compensates for it's teenyness compared to other supermini city cars.
All dash controls are clearly labelled and easy to tweak without losing concentration of the road.
Speakers give lovely clear audio easily confused with an upgraded rather than factory standard fitting.
Pedals well spaced, brakes and accelerator more than responsive.
Laughably tiny turning circle banishes 3 point turns in the road for good!
Bad Points
The boot will accomodate kids stuff or shopping, not both and certainly no trikes or pushchairs. My blue SE model has the funky blue/black cloth interior which isn't the best for minimising/disguising marks made by mucky children!
General Comments
I more than 'pooh-pooh' the rumours this Kia Picanto can't hold its own at motorway speeds. having driven from Luton to Leeds in complete comfort, with no back aches, hairy overtaking moments or complaints about cabin noise. The engine is equally as responsive at 30mph as at 80 and I am continually reassured on every drive that yes,I really am a 'thinking person'. Thank you Kia !
