General Comments

The Flash Power Mop with lock away core pulls and traps dirt deep inside the cleaning pads. It is used with the Flash multisurface floor cleaner, which dissolves dirt and leaves no dulling residue. Well, that's what it says on the box. In practice the Super Mop is almost the opposite.

It may be simple and easy to use, but in practice it smears the grime all over the floor, and after it has dried out, leaves laminate floors looking dirty with a dull coating of dried dirty residue. Yes some dirt is absorbed into the pads, but some is missed, which you need to vacuum to get up the bits it has left behind.

This product may be suitable for the "average" household; one with no pets and no young kids, but with a young family there are far better and cheaper alternatives to the Flash Super Mop.

"...there are far better and cheaper alternatives to the Flash Super Mop." Yeah, a bucket and floorcloth!

The Flash Power Mop may be light and economical, but it's not ideal for heavy duty grime or a light polish to the floor. In fact, when you go to use the scrubber bit on the side, the thing snaps and breaks at the joint which connects the actual mop to the handle, therefore leaving it hanging from the cleaning line which squirts out the floor cleaner. Also, it's expensive. What a flop!
