I ordered a Webley Tempest in .22 caliber as soon as I found out that Webley went into receivership. Too bad, the British really know how to put together a durable and long lasting pistol. As you can guess, I am a Webley fan. It took me 8 shots and I was hitting the 9/10 ring at 10 meters. It just feels right in my hands. It inpires confidence and I hit what I aim at. I have a .177 caliber Webley Tempest that I purchased a couple of years ago and it is the same in regards to fit and feel. I have other air pistols such as the Daisy 717, 747. Crosman 1377, 1008, 2240, and a CZ but none gives me the thrill and the Weblys. I like the fact that I don't have to rely on CO2 or pump multiple times to shoot. Sure the Webleys are more expensive than some other pistols but it's worth it. I'll be handing these down to my grandchildren. Get one or two while they are still on the market, you'll be glad you did. Own a piece of British history!
