Good Points

Runs great when everything is working, looks nice.
Ever heard the saying don't judge a book by its cover


Bad Points

Engine, clutch, rear diff, electric windows regulators go, back door seal, rear washer, excessive tyre wear.


General Comments

Hi owned this Freelander Y reg 1.8s for 10 months only 42k on clock stay away unless you have a spare £2000. For following repair bills: First the window regulators broke on drivers side and passenger side. Then the rear diff bush mounting caused knocking at back end. Then the back door seal leaks causing water to gather in hidden tool area. Then master clutch and slave cylinder gone. And excpect excessive tyre wear. All in all poorly designed no help from dealerships or the garage you buy it from. We have a Silver warranty which is not worth the paper it's written on .I personally recommend a Landrover Discovery
