The cadet is a great rifle for the young starter but for anyone over 15 i would recomend you look somewhere els but for a vermint controller this is one you should have a look at it is perfect for rats, mice, birds and other household menaces just not the kid's.
it is a very light simple rifle that can take abbuse it is not very powerfull but powerfull enough for the bacyard shooter.
