best looking standard corsa, great engines, great reliability, reasonably fast. mine is chipped and has power valve about 115bhp 0-60 in about 8.5 secs top speed easily 125mph. Eats VTR Saxos for breakfast I know because I've had 2 of those as well.Go for GSI Corsa that's my advice. And if you find a good one and keep hold of it then it will be worth a few quid in near future they are very rare now in that condition.
Can be thirsty if you put your foot down, group 12 insurance, hard to find a decent one that hasn't been neglected. Try to spend as much as you can afford, one with a service history and good mileage, it's worth the extra. I've had 2, my first was a L reg only paid £950 for it was ok for a bit but then had all sorts of probs with it also had 130,000 miles on it. My new one is a M reg it cost me £1400 but has full service history only 80,000 miles and 2 owners. It is also totally original apart from lowered so you can see the difference in what you get for your money.
The Vauxhall Corsa GSi is a brilliant little car, all round far better and faster than the 1.6 Ecotec sport model which hasn't even got a body kit as standard. I think you would have to be mad to consider the Corsa Sport over the GSI. Thanks for reading this review and hope it has helped you.
