Good Points

The grounds were beautiful. The Junior suites were being renovated, but there wasn't any noise or mess while this went on because the Junior suites were off to the far end of the main lobby.
Most of the people that worked there were nice. Service was a 7 I'd say.

Compared to a lot of the other hotels in Varadaro, this was a 4+, as most are in need of a good paint job.

The men that worked there were very nice to the ladies. Can't really say that for the women.

The beach was so beautiful it's like a post card. The water was so warm, the sand was white, and I would go back just for the beaches alone.

It is a great place to go as a couple. Not recommended for singles though.

Bad Points

The women that worked there seem to have a hard time dealing with two females together *sisters*. They use their charm on the men, but when it came to my sister and I, they didn't even bother. Only one woman who worked in the buffet was very nice to my sister and I, every day!

I suppose it's the culture?

The rooms are in need of updating, as the decor is at least 15 - 20 years old.

Tipping wasn't something I like to do at an all inclusive resort. It was expected for better service.

The food really sucked, but I expected that.

General Comments

I wouldn't go back to the SuperClubs Breezes Varadero in Cuba; not because of the hotel, but because of the Country. People are very poor and live in very low standards, not by choice of course. The begging in Havana was a pain, but expected.

You must go to Old Havana, it was wonderful.
