Full bass. Impressive build. Crisp treble. Bi-wire ready
Bad Points
Bit bulky. Vinyl cover a bit cheap. Limited range of finishes considering it's
just vinyl wrap.
General Comments
If you aren't bothered by the big, black (well...Mine are), brutes' appearance,
then they are a must audition product. I've heard from a couple of sources
that the treble from the metal dome tweeter can occasionally verge into
harshness. But i've encountered no such problems in my system (using Arcam
Amp and CD). The bass is tight and plentiful, but not excessive. It doesn't
'boom' like a lot of floorstanding designs i've listened to. Ready and willing
for bi-wiring, and better for it. Try them out if you're after some affordable
speakers. You won't be dissapointed!
