    4.5 stars
  • Ease of Use
    4.5 stars

Good Points

Large Screen
Palm operating system (ie not Windows Mobile)
Versamail - email client
Blazer Browser - best seen on a handheld

Bad Points

Does occasionally lock up
"reboot" hole not easy to access (solved in TX apparently)
RealPlayer doesn't play streamed audio directly from Internet.

General Comments

The Palm T5 (like the current TX) is a PDA not a PPC. As such it does what it is supposed to very well!
Unlike Pocket PCs that run the Windows mobile platform the functions that it performs it does well. Palm was years ahead of the pack in this market with the Pilot series and evolution to the T5 and the TX. Tempusfugit thinks that the wide spread adoption of the Windows Mobile platform is a retrograde step.
