General Comments

The Fox Micron MMX Bite Alarm is simply the best alarm i have ever used, they look good, they are small, and have great features.
The MMXs are second to the top range in the fox micron m range, a friend has a set of the Micron MX's and after borrowing mine for a weekend has decided to sell his and buy some MMX's. The alarms have drop back differentation so if you have a drop back bite the alarms will give a different tone and the LED will flash as opposed to latch on.
The sensitivity control is a very good feature also. Many night anglers will almost deffinately experienced wind setting off there bite alarms becuase they are too sensitive, with the MMXs you can manually adjust sensitivity to your liking.
The alarms have a very low battery drain, i have still to hear the warning for low batteries and another friend has has the low battery warning for 6 months and the battery still hasn't run out yet.
The MMXs take LR1 batteries.

The Fox Micron MMX's retail at about £54.99 and are available at most good tackle shops.
MMX's come with either Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue LEDs.

    Have just purchased three of these after reading comments on both this website and from friends :o) Im upgrading from the standard M alarms and was going to purchase mx (new babyS!) limit my upgrade potential and financial situation some what but im really positive now that ive made the correct choice to buy these alarms!, i havent received yet but will do very shortly and will add a comment to my compare tests when received for others to see.

    Thank you KyleAsh for your great review and boost of confidence for me in purchasing these alarms. It just goes to show that a fantastic alarm can be purchased without the need of the name Delkim!.. My fox micron M alarms are fantastic and they only have on/off and volume!..
