Good Points

Excellent Screen - Clear phone operation and quality
MP3 playback
Additional memory

Bad Points

Very poor battery life
Side buttons are a nuisance and keep getting pressed
It's not really a RAZR phone (ie not thin at all)

General Comments

In general, the Motorola V3X mobile phone is not what I was expecting. I was looking for an upgrade to my V3, instead I got a power consuming brick.

Hi I am thinking of getting one of these on my next upgrade. Please can you tell me how often you have to charge the phone up, I usually charge mine up every night anyway, and when you set the alarm how easy is it to turn it off? Many Thanks Pauline

Hi there, According to Motorola's website the phone is meant to last 250 hrs on standby, mine does not last 40hrs. I have never tested the alarm, as the battery low alarm comes on so often that it is effectively useless for more than one nights operation. Rgds John.

GO TO SETTINGS - SECURITY - LOCK PHONE and the side buttons are locked so you can't accidentally press them! my phone lasts many hours charged, and only takes 1-2HRS TO FULLY RECHARGE, much better than many other phones which need an overnight charge. you can charge it whilst the phone is on so this is not really a problem!

also, the features on the v3x are much much better than the v3 - video capture, 2mp camera (compared to vga which = about 0.3mp), mp3, etc.
