Best fluid handling car I have owned and makes my 1.7 Puma feel like the springs are made of wood! The only car that you really can steer with the throttle what a joy on a B road. 1.6 is a lot better than the 1.4 have driven both and 1.4 has no torque at all. New dampers also transform the car if you are buying a high miler. Best steering of any car I have owned. You could feel an ant if you ran over one and you can feel when the front tyre starts to fold over under heavy cornering. All in all go and buy one while they are still around as I am nearly ten years on and have not driven anything better. Look after yours as I may want to buy it as a future classic one day. Come on Peugeot get your act together and build something at least as good.!
The day my pug got crashed into and written off. If anyone put her back onto the road then enjoy her she is a top car. Also I have to say the Lamde sensor seems to always be broken at MOT time.
If you are young go out and buy a Peugeot 106 1.4 XSi and forget the insurance it's worth the money for the memories of owning one. Bin man or banker your gonna love it!
