Nice colours of sand.
Looks the business on the box and adverts.
Amazing how it seems to repel water (sort of).
Bad Points
Water tank too small.
Flimsy plastic bottles.
Different coloured sand is nearly impossible to separate.
When removing sand from the tank, it is almost impossible not to get water 'bubbles' sticking to the sand.
General Comments
I got one of these so called Magic Sand Super Sculpture sets for my daughter, and they are a complete waste of money.
Firstly, the tank is really flimsy and small, and you can hardly see what you are doing in it.
A lot of the sand floats to the top.
The sculpting bottle is really hard to control, as it just spews sand out everywhere.
It takes a good hour to get the sand dry enough to put back in the packet, by sifting it, but water bubbles always seem to form in the packet, and if you are using 2 or more different colours, it takes longer to try and separate them.
The water tank gets scratched very easily by the sand, and after 2 uses it is barely transparent, and watch out if you spill it on wooden or plastic surfaces; don't wipe or scrape it off, use a soft brush, or everything gets scratched! Even my kitchen sink got scratched when rinsing residue I couldn't get at. Don't pour sand remains down the toilet either, as it stays for weeks and it clumps together when wet.
Our set came with a little rubber seahorse who lost his painted on eyes after the third play! A small thin plastic cave made out of the kind of stuff Easter eggs get packaged in, a couple of scenery cards that you had to colour in yourself, and three small bags of sand. It seems a lot, but trust me it isn't.
I will never go near the stuff again! It wouldn't be so bad if my daughter actually liked it!

In some cases you should sand the surface, especially on a very smooth one, or you can drill some capture holes if missed to punch in when sculpting.
