Good Points

The car is very fuel economical and has cheap tax and insurance. Mine 106 Independence has colour coded bumpers which always make it look better. I brought mine in Moonstone Blue on a 'Y' plate for £2,500 with very low miles. Unfortunatly I have to put alloys on a car if it hasn't got them I didn't want to boy racer it as it would be hard to sell so I brought some Peugeot alloys the GTI ones, they look nice on the car. I made the mistake of not buying the correct bolts from Peugeot and the garage that fitted them said it would be ok which it wasn't it damaged the threads on the hubs which now means that it shakes at 80mph but that's ok because no one should really go 80. The interior is nice and the seats are comfortable.

Bad Points

The car is very basic inside mine didn't even have power steering (I don't miss it cause I have never had it). The car doesen't have electric windows or central locking.

General Comments

I think the Peugeot 106 is a very good car and the Independence is a brillant first car. Let's be honest the more technical a car is by this I mean if it has electric this and electric that it's more that can go wrong. If you're at college, like me, you can't afford it when things go wrong. Hope this has been of some help
