General Comments

This Beeman 2004e gun cost me £69.89 with case and pellets from Air Sport Direct.com.
What a gun, it is powerful enough to kill easy! It goes straight through tin cans and the can barely moves. Better than my Beretta 92fs. No recoil at all! Very very accurate quite easy to load.

Steve.......the MV of your pistol is just over 400 ft/sec. In my experience, even in .177 that is not enough to go straight through tin cans, if by 'tin cans' you mean the standard baked beans variety. I could believe a Coke can as my .177 Benjamin EB can do that easily at 60 feet but will only severely dent (with a little split) a 'tin can' at 10 feet and the Benjamin has a higher MV than your Beeman. Come back on that one Steve... (Thought......you're not using Prometheus pellets are you?)

Do you have to buy a pump for this?

Hi. How do you load this air pistol? Do you put the pellet straight into the breech or does it have a magazine? And what is the loading action? Thanks!

Bertie, After reading this review I tried shooting a baked bean tin with my 2004e. At
3-4 yards it did pass straight through, it surprised me as well. That was with SMK Spitfires (domed)

Ok I have tryed many pellets on tin cans and it takes 3 shots to get through one side. Maybe our cans are tougher in Canada.

Hi i have a severe pest problem (squirrels and rabbits)

I have been using my Falcon 2.2 compressed air gun to kill them and it works tremendously but it has to be pumped up after about 50 shots so not too good for longterm shooting. i was wandering if the beeman was accurate enough to hit a squirrel and powerful enough to kill it?

    Thanks for your time
