General Comments

There is a need in our house to have a DVD player in the kitchen. The kitchen TV is a 14" TV/Video combo. So when we wanted a DVD player, we thought why buy a cheapo unknown brand from a supermarket when for a few more pounds you can buy an entry level Sony player? It's a no-brainer.

As I've only used the Sony DVP NS30 DVD player on the small TV, I can't really tell you if the picture has any flaws that might show up on a large TV. What I can tell you is that the picture is brilliant on a small TV when used via the Scart output, and whatever way you look at it, it's bound to be better than some unknown brand made in Taiwan with unknown quality and dubious support.

For the price it's good value.
