The food; plentiful and lots of fresh produce.
The Cuban people and resort staff are very nice and welcoming.
The resort itself is very attractive. Great beach with a gentle slope from the shore, so you can walk out far, and sit in the water and relax.
Bad Points
The late or all night noise from the disco, and the drinkers at the cafe bar kept many from a good night's sleep. So there was some complaining, but it didn't affect us, as we had a room far away from the central noise and near the beach; great spot.
General Comments
The staff at the Brisas Santa Lucia Hotel in Camaguey, Cuba, were warm and friendly, and always willing to help. The resort is beautiful and offers something for everyone. Great beach, lovely pools, with bars at both. We enjoyed the meals in the buffet restaurant, as well as in the international restaurant. And of course, the cafe restaurant was popular at any time. Food was plentiful and fresh with lots of choice. It was a delight to eat three meals a day, where tables awaited us appealingly set, and the service was attentive. Our rooms were spacious and clean. And outside, the grounds were kept attractive throughout the resort. Lots of tours are offered here as well. I went on the snorkeling experience and it was great. We loved our stay and would go back.
