Good Points

Just took delivery last week - it is a very pretty car, I guess if it was a girl it would be Angelina Jolie quite classy and well put together. Inside is a nice place to be and pretty good MPG so far

Bad Points

The diesel unit is a bit agricultural for an executive saloon, but I actually kind of like the roughness of it.

General Comments

The reason I opted for the Saab 9-3 is that I have been previously driving BMW and Mercs and felt like something a bit different.

Mine is early 2004 plate with less than 20k on the clock.

The cabin is excellent and everything you need is to hand, once you get used to the computer display it is quite easy to use. I have an upgraded CD system in the car so can't comment on the bog standard version which seems to be a problem.

I have found the ride to be good, some reviews namely What Car have it as fidgety - not sure what they are used to driving, but feels ok to me.

Boot space is good and I have had 3 big loads of stuff in there already and it was fine. Not much else to say at the moment - looking forward to seeing how it performs over the next few years.

I thought I would update this now, as I have been driving the Saab for nearly 9 months, and during that time it has been flawless - no glitches, no breakdowns, no niggles and MPG around 42mpg - would be higher if I didn't spend most of the time sitting in traffic jams!

Servicing and parts are allegedly quite expensive, but not due a service until late February, so I can't comment on that yet!
