I found the Soltan Aftersun Spray For Kids a very thick consistency meaning that you have to rub it in quite well allthough this is easy to do as it is in a spray. The down side to this is that if your child has caught the sun and is slightly sore this will only make it worse. Also like the suncream for kids I find that the smell once on is quite stale smelling after 20 or so minutes and as with all kids products the cost is slightly more than it should be.

A cold shower will take the heat out of skin far more quickly than any expensive and smelly cream and thus is possibly far more effective.
