Gorgeous graphics and a great sense of freedom as you swing around as the friendly neighbourhood Spiderman.
Good boss fights.
Play as either Spiderman or Venom.
Good storyline from the comics.
You can't access the whole city (invisible barriers).
Really short, but collectables and challenges for replay value.
Could be too hard for younger players.
This Spiderman game comes from the Ultimate comics so expect a few differences from the movies and older cartoons (eg the green goblin really is a massive goblin thing).
All the graphics look beautiful as you swing around the city taking part in the story missions or just dealing with the random hero stuff of saving people.
The story flips inbetween Spiderman and Venom and their stories intertwine together. I won't give the story away because it's quite cool.
Playing as Spidey feels perfect, with good combat and controls BUT playing as Venom always seemed such a chore as he was very slow and rubbish. But it was a nice change from being Spiderman all the time.
Boss fights are awesome and include the following: Wolverine, Green Goblin, Rhino, Carnage, Electro and a few newer baddies as long as Johnny Storm from Fantastic 4 who you get to race.
All in all, its a good game just really short and going back to get all the collectibles isn't enough to count as decent replayability.
