Sold my account without telling me
I just found out when I tried to go online to make a payment, that Capital one sold my account to someone else, and they said they can't even pull up the history!! They gave me a number to call, which when I do, answers as Capital One, but they are not Capital One. They cannot access all of my information either, and they told me that my account number has changed, also my card type has changed and they sent the card to an old address!! They told me that Capital One is no longer in the business of second chance cards, and since mine started out that way years ago, they sold it. This doesn't sound right to me. Anyone know anything about this?
