Good Points

- You can purchase online even if you've left home already.
- You can submit claims online
- You can extend indefinately online
- It's Cheap...particularly if you'r travelling for more than 1 year
- You get free SMS travel secuirty alerts
- You get a free travel blog


Bad Points

- It's only available at present to residents of UK, US, Canada, Australia & New Zealand, but more countries are to follow apparently.


General Comments

World Nomads would have to be the easiest insurance policy I've ever bought online. The site is really easy to use and the amount of activities they cover is amazing (skiing, bungy jumping, white water rafting to mention a few).

The ability to purchase whilst away from home is really excellent, and the fact that if you want to stay away longer that you can extend, well I don't know any other company that allows that.

The free SMS travel alerts are really handy and the travel blogs are excellent.

All-in-All, a company that understands the traveller, and a site that makes buying travel insurance simple.
