General Comments

The Barclays Home Insurance policy MIGHT seem OK, but you will not know until it is needed.

My first impressions are bad, as two weeks on from taking out the Policy online, I am still waiting for the paperwork despite three phone calls. Also. the money is not debited from your account immediately, so I cannot actually prove that the policy is valid.

    Most businesses 'put their best foot forward' at the start of a business relationship and so things perhaps do not bode well for the future! In order to legally get out of this agreement you need to immediately contact the company in writing and (as lawyers say) 'make time of the essence.' Effectively say that unless correct insurance documentation is received within 48 hours then, as time is now of the essence, you will regard the agreement as having been cancelled and will cancel your cheque, or direct debit, as the case may be.
