General Comments
The Samsung E530 is the first non-Nokia mobile phone I've had in a while, and I think next time I would go back to Nokia.
The reception is bad (even on the move in central London, you can't keep up a conversation on it), and the battery life is rubbish - last count was a little over 24 hours without making or receiving a call or even texting on it... Plus, some of the menus and shortcuts are counter-intuitive. And then there are just the really annoying things like when I go to write a text, every single time I have to switch it to predictive, but if I am replying to a text I received, it automatically goes to predictive. Finally, if I have missed a call I have to open the phone to see that I have missed it, there is no symbol on the outside that shows it. Maybe I just got a duff one as there seems to be a lot wrong with it! On the plus side, it looks pretty and it was free.
