Good Points

Pretty fast, very good handling, good acceleration, realible, very fun to drive. Share the Minarelli 2 stroke 100cc engine with several other bikes like Yamaha Aerox 100, good brakes, 2 stroke engine, that's easy to tune, normal traffic can't keep up to the bike. The bike is very small. No space to put the helmet in the bike but it comes with a original topbox that's possible to remove when not needed

Bad Points

The headlight has no halogen bulb, kind of poor light to ba a motorcycle scooter. Driving in low speeds the variomat can be a little bit jearky. The gastank is a bit small about 5 litre

General Comments

Aprilia Scarabeo 100 - I had it for a couple of years. The bike has been very good and never let me down. I have tuned the engine with a 125cc cylinder and a carbon reed. I have now order some more tuning parts. A new special exhaust system, bigger carb and a new special variator. I like the 2 stroke engine because it won't need any expensive service, only the oil change in the final gear. The weather and water has not affected the bike, only very cold weather. The carb seems to lean the engine a little bit when the outside temp drops near minus 15 celcius. Not a big problem but the bike can stumble a bit more when cold. The topspeed could be better that's why i do all the tuning. The original topspeed is about 85-90km/t but a few times i have reach 110Km/t.
