Good Points

High quality, powerful.

Bad Points

Strange grip-trigger relationship-hold one and see.
Typical overpriced Beeman Weihrauch rifle.

General Comments

Grip the R-9 and feel your wrist cramp after awhile, I have neither very small nor very large hands and find this configuration bizzare and uncomfortable. Good quality and power, but not good enough to warrant the price. Look at the BSA Supersport and get a better, similar rifle for less money. Beeman likes to call the Weihrauch rifles their own and then jack up the prices--too bad.

Most who have extensive experience with airguns would scoff at this useless review of one of the finest springers on the market. This reviewer either has another agenda or is not very knowledgeable.....

I agree with you Hookslinger. I own several Beemans the R8 and the GS1000, only quality materials used.

I disagree with your review of the R9, But I accept your right to feel this way, because it can be a personal thing look and feel.

I have to say that on a whole the R9 is great rifle with smooth flowing looks and is well balanced, your review was shallow you didn't mentioned anything about the Rekord trigger and how it can be set to break like glass or how accurate the rifle is.

Sure there are some other good rifles out there, but the HW95/R9 set the standard.

Good luck with your BSA SS.
