General Comments

Great beginner gun for a kid or a woman-if you're willing to spend 200 plus dollars for a beginner gun. Quiet yes, powerful no.
Great accuracy and aesthetic qualities-nice looking gun. You pay a lot extra for the "Beeman mystique" and there are better airguns out there for the money. Keep looking.

That review does partial justcie to this fine gun...

First off, its not a womans or childs gun, indeed, many strong armed men buy it and add cutom stocks that run the total price of the gun astronomicaly beyond the $200 plus dollars?

    Why?

Its not about "Beeman Mystique". Infact , I didn't realise there was any. Its because they've taken the same sterling tolerances of excellenece and applied it to a lighter firing rifle. The gun as a result is incredibly accurate with machining to match. Its for the discerning shooter not wanting a heavy slamming or heavy cocking gun, but merely a rifle designed specifically for the pleasure of shooting. Its not about pedal to the metal, but rather how well it corners and breaks - if I may use an auto analogy.

A real crtitique? OK, they ought to have an adult stock - as so very many adult men love this gun. Oh we love our heavy cocking canons but sometimes you just want to relax with a light firing but utterly fantastic rifle.

    This is the R7.

Excellent and accurate comments. I own an R7 that has been tuned, with buttoned piston and grade III walnut stock. Fitted with a Leupold, this R7 cost me $1000 bucks and in my oppinion, worth every penny.
