Very good quality of rooms and decor
The Room Service staff were good
Bad Points
1) In-room items such as a small bottle of water will cost you in the region of a staggering £3. The same water bottle sold in a local supermarket will cost you less than 60p. The same goes with the other food and drink items.
2) Reception staff and door staff are OK, but not very welcoming or customer focused.
3) If you are thinking of having your breakfast in your room, the Room Service will set you back around £12 each time.
General Comments
I read the reviews about the Hyatt in Istanbul, plus having stayed in the Hyatt in Manchester - I felt the Hyatt hotel in Istanbul was going to be a good choice. However, I was mistaken. Overall, the Hyatt in Istanbul had great rooms, but it was a rip-off, even for a 5 star hotel, and the customer service was poor.
