We had two very different experiences of the Legoland theme park. We went when Legoland first opened and we were very disappointed. For a Theme park that promotes itself as a family attraction, there was actually very little suitable for very small children. However, we went last year and had a great time. There were more rides, and of course our children are much older now, but what really made it special was the Star Wars theme to promote the latest film. The park was full of actors dressed as the characters from the films, who were all really happy to have their pictures taken, and there was a book signing, topped off with a fantastic Laser show. Our kids (who were 11, 10 & 4) thought it was brilliant. I would like to see more of this kind of imaginative entertainment. At least you feel you're getting a bit more value for your ticket price.
