The pets are cute, except the new ones. The Gnorbu and Orgin are UGLY!
Don't get me started, Ill go on for hours.
I personally have just quit Neopets because it is highly addictive and was taking away my youth. I've asked several people if they liked it, and I got plenty of "it's so addictive" but no actual "I love it, it's fun to play".
everything is extremely expensive, and why waste months of your life to try and buy something like a MSPP (TCG) which gives you a lousy avatar?
Neopets has a lot of favoritism with certain users, and the merchandising is getting extremely annoying. Ads at the top, Ads at the bottom, Ads on the side. Then there's the games, which are ads too - WOOPEE! Everyone on the boards is immature, and there are lots of dumb teenagers who all act the same and push everyone around. A lot of people call them 'scene' kids.
There is constant freezing, and I have been frozen a lot of times, but I haven't with my first main account which I took good care of and was careful to never break a rule. But who really cares about the rules, since they keep creating new ones without actually letting you know?
I admit, I think the pets are cute, and I really liked the 3 that I sadly left behind. I'm boycotting all of Neopets sponsors, and when I see a Neopets ad or commercial, I ignore it.
Neopets will die very soon; just like Pokemon and other popular things. It has completely lost its creativity, and it is very disappointing.
