Love the vtec at 5.5 rpm with cold air intake.
look of the car is aggressive
pulls pretty well on the highway!
So much room for mods!!!!
cup holders suck
Interior a little boring but who really cares except for the girls that get in the car!
Rear rattles sometimes, be careful with clutch, it wares down easily!
I previously owned a 98 civic DX coupe, When I got the 2000 SIR,,,holy s***!!!!!
I first drove it stock and was impressed with the vtec.
After installing a cold air (a must) a cat back exhaust, headers and type R cams,,,you will be rolling from 160HP to approx. 195 in no time.
The new V2 AEM cold air gives that extra torque that I know you r all looking for in the mid RPM, Exhaust and headers make a huge difference on the highway.
The torque that we are all searching for down low, I believe is only achievable by avtec computer, supercharger, turbo or some major internal mods.
Honestly just the AEM cold air is a world of difference in performance and sound.
