Very accurate
The best trigger around FT together with FWB
Very easy to service and power up and/or down
Despite to some comments, the long rail avoids speccial mounts (*1)
Many acessories for FT
Loading system and air transffer to the pellet
Possibility to fill at 300 bar
Shots per fill
Heavy
Noisy, oh but that's just bad temper...
(*1) If you use a large objective scope as the nikko Sportsman than you will need special mounts because of the strait long rail.
I'm a founding member of the Portuguese Field Target Association ( A.P.F.T.) Apft.com.pt and there are now around 5 Walther LG300 Dominators. We all are very pleased with our Dommies as we call them. They are very accurate indeed. Loading is very easy and a very intuitive way to use the safety pin on competitions. The trigger is one of the things I like the most in my Dominator. It is very sensible at the 2nd stage but very predictable on the let-off. I must mention the trigger shoe that is a real great small issue that makes a big difference in the education of the pulling the trigger the right way.
The gun can be a bit picky with its diet but mine found the Barracuda Match the best for it.
Listen it is very usual putting 3 to 5 pellets on one single hole at 30-40 meters ( bench-resting ) - that must mean something isn't that so ?
My advice is : If you are looking for a rifle to enter this sport to win, or with the best, than this rifle is your best choice. Remember that it is a bit heavy thow.
Good shooting and long live the Field Target sport
