Good Points

Sparkling acceleration in power band 1500/2500rpm.6speed gears and positive gear-lever to fire you to 100mph in a very short-time.Fuel 10miles per litre or 45mpg on all types of speeds, mostly high, in my case. Road tax £115 annually,group 8/9 insurance, cheap!


Bad Points

Flaking paint from lower near-side front-bumper,re-painted no-charge, at 6month's old.Fuel flap catch had to be repaired after one week, no-charge.Gear-box whine at certain lower speeds. £400 for optional sunroof very small, not worth having really. Wide front roof pillar's give's bad blind spots. Speedometer does not display 100mph nor 120mph.I miss knowing what speed I am doing. Engine oil expensive at £50 for 4 litre's. Locating front seat-covers difficult due to bucket shaped seat's, but internet supplier accomodated. Interior bland and miss a shelf to drop thing's into in front dash area.


General Comments

Overall the Skoda Fabia vRS is an excellent economical very fast car. Price new, street's ahead of VW and a-little of SEAT for that 130bhp engine. Possibility to increase an already fast car by getting it chipped out, etc. Being a 5 door is a bonus as most sport's car's are only 3 door. BUY ONE.!!
