The hotel is located far enough away from San Jose not to bothered by it. A great tranquil location and the service was great. The Spa facilities are fabulous and the general feeling is great.
Bad Points
The rooms do need some updating.
General Comments
We went to the Martino Hotel as part of our honeymoon which we booked throught www.costaricaholiday.co.uk. This was the first stop for us and a welcome stop it was. The views of the Central Valley were outstanding and the food in the restaurant was great. The pool was huge and the spa was massive. We did not stay long enough to try the spa packages but they looked great. The rooms were nice however did need some updating.
