South Lakes Wild Animal Park is by far the best zoo I have ever been to!
It cost £7 to get in, and it was worth every penny. We saw all the animals in their natural habitats. They had Lions, Tigers, Cheetahs, Hippos, Monkeys, Bears, and Bats etc. They have a section where the animals walk around with you. It's split into various countries i.e. Australia had Kangaroos and Wallaby's. Lemar's sit by your feet, and Emu's walk past you demanding food, which is quite scary! At feeding times, they put meat at the top of large poles in the Lion and Tiger enclosures. They run up them at such a speed! There is also a talk on endangered animals and what they are doing to help. The good thing about this zoo is that they support and set up projects to save endangered animals, and you can donate if you want to, as they ask for any spare change after the talks. Even the food in the shop was nice!!
