Good Points

You can ring people on it. It has all the features you would expect on a modern phone. The reception's good but that's probably down to my network provider. Good battery life.

Bad Points

Awful looking. Awful ringtones. Awful alarm tones. Awful.

General Comments

This phone is terrible. It looks like 'My First Mobile' for 3yr olds. I'm ashamed to get this thing out in public.
Massive, ugly, silver buttons. Navy Blue front, Baby Blue back, clear sides and a nasty Slime Green on/off button on the top. All in a lovely, cheap plastic finish. An aesthetical disaster. Unless you want to look more camp than a row of tents, you're forced to buy a new facia. Good marketing ploy, Nokia.
The Polyphonic ringtones are so high pitched, dogs' ears bleed when it rings. I have no choice but to keep it on 'Discreet' so that I don't annoy anyone within a 15 mile radius.
The alarm on it sounds like a fire alarm which is great to wake up to in the morning - puts me in a great mood for the day.
To top it all off, the battery keeps cutting out halfway through any texts I try to send. Cracking.
A must buy for any fat fingered, hard of hearing, tasteless people who don't like sending texts.

I have a 3510 and it does what I want in a cheap phone. Battery life is very good. I use the Wap quite a lot and can send email from the phone. True the ringtones sound poor. One advantage IS the large buttons.

My real comment is, however, if you hate the phone so much, why did u buy it?

I agree that the WAP facility on this phone is useful and all that, and to be fair to Nokia, I really like the way they map out the functions on their phones. I just can't stand the actual 3510 handset.
In answer to your question, I didn't buy the phone, it was a free upgrade. I was so blinded by what a great deal they were offering me that I agreed to take the phone before I researched it. Entirely my fault, really. I've learn't my lesson now though.

I think you are being totally negative on the 3510. It's a great phone for the price that it's at, and there are few bad points. You say that the battery keeps cutting out. Did it ever occur to you that it may be your fault for ruining the battery in the first place? You probably over-charged it - I know no1 who has ever had this problem with a 3510 before. The cover you get with it may be disgusting, but are you really that stingy that you can't go and buy a new one for £10? I mean, you actually get to choose the colour and EVERYTHING! Some of the Polyphonic tunes may be high-pitched, but most of them are just at the right level. Well, Nokia aren't exactly going to make new ringtones just for one irritable person are they? If you got it upgraded, you should have been able to choose your new phone. If you didn't, it's not my fault. You should have stuck with your old phone if you are that picky.

I like this fone. it's great!!! I like the colours of it (the back side ant the power button looks strange, but...I got used with it and now I like it ), I like the tones and I like its features. It's great, not expensive fone

It's a great phone, I have one myself. I'd like to see you design a better one. Think about all the things it does rather than how it looks. Being able to talk to someone even when the're miles away from you, sending messages, WAP services, being able to ring 999 *FREE* if you come to any danger. Surely that deserves two points at least. You clearly expect far to much from a phone.

I completely agree. In fact this phone is so baad, that I am getting the old 'rents to get me a new one for Christmas. Really, the 3510 is that bad that getting it out in public is almost as dramatic as "Crossroads". Maybe I'll give to a hated relative at Christmas...
