General Comments

Firstly, I signed up to the Chase Bank Perfect credit card where it offered me a 0% introductory rate for however many months (do not recall at this time the specific number). When I went to pay it in full, surprisingly I still had $333.00 due of interest. I paid that and left the card unused for about one year, as I've had been offered that 0% introductory rate by other cards and had not been charged for, as advertised. Hence, I intended to use the card only for 'emergencies'. Finally, after a long period of using the card, I had to use it again. My card was declined. I went on to see my account details, and I had overdue charges. When calling to question those charges they were all related to Chase programs I was not aware that I was enrolled in. I asked to have every program canceled (one was £9.99 and the other was $34.xx). My overdue payment of 1 month on one program and 2 on the other came to a total of $91.xx, plus a charge for paying for it over the phone of $14.xx. Finally, I went to buy a new car, and there was I in the credit card bureau by Chase "overdue statement for more than 30 days." I called in to question the mark and was told it would not be removed. It would stay there for 7 years according to law, and there is nothing they could do for me. If I'd like I could go ahead and dispute it with the bureau. I never made a late payment before the date I had paid the card in full. I plan to pay the remaining balance I have in full and close this account.
