General Comments

I chose the Nokia 3230 mobile phone as an upgrade, and I received four 3230's from Orange until I got one that worked. On the first three phones the memory card would not format, and the camera would not go on. There was also no icon to notify me that a message had been left for me, and no notification of a missed call, even though I had been left a message.

On this fourth phone, the camera still only comes on when it wants to, and not when I want it to. It often does not even take a picture when it does come on, and says there is not enough memory, even though there is.

The main screen notifies me when I have a missed call, but when I access this information it is often impossible to delete this icon, so I am never sure if this icon is referring to the first missed call or a subsequent one.

Yesterday I tried to text someone, and the text would not send because I did not have a good signal. The icon on the phone that I see when texts are usually sending is now stuck and will not go away, even though I have switched the phone on and off several times.

When I send a text message, I write the text and click on 'contacts,' but I have to then press another button which changes the phone to alpha mode before I can scroll down the contacts. I don't know of any other phone on this planet that makes you do this.

This phone is so slow, it inspires me with no confidence whatsoever. It is clear to me where the ultimate flaw of this phone lies. It is trying to be something it is not. It is packed full of hundreds of features and it can't cope with them. It is like a Robin Reliant posing as a Ferrari or a sheep in wolves clothing.

As for the reviews which say this phone is cool, they must have been written by those overpaid PR people who pose as genuine consumers in order to write things about products on behalf of manufacturers!
