    Enables MSN Messenger
    Also uses McAFee scanning on all emails for viruses etc.


    Bad Points

    Some services incur fees, and re-setting passwords can be a lengthy procedure.


    General Comments

    Generally, Hotmail is a good email service provider. Accounts with up to 250Mb of space are completely free of charge, along with many other services, including MSN (chatroom) and Online Organiser (all free of charge). However, there are a few issues. If you happen to forget your password, and therefore need to re-set it, you do have to enter in personal information. The problem occurs if you forget to remember your personal information, and in this case, you will be permanently unable to access your Hotmail account. Also, you do have to access your account at least every 30 days to prevent it from being shut down. Many other quality services also demand charges; normally only through credit cards, which can be even more of a problem.

    Basically, MSN Hotmail is good if you want a simple, quick, safe and easy to use email account.
