Good Points

Heats up fast, look exactly like expensive GHD's, good long cord, hook to hang them up with, can be bought with free oil and heat mat.


Bad Points

Ceramic plates aren't as smooth on your hair, can make your hair very dry and give solit ends, hair gets stuck between the ceramic plait so sometimes pull. Very painful! can take a long time as if you have thick hair like mine you can only straighten small sections of hair at a time, light doesn't flash when at top heat.


General Comments

I previously always used my sisters GHD straighteners which were fab but when she moved out she took her straighteners with her :-( I bought the She straightners as they were a lot cheaper than GHD. They were ok to start with but they don't make your hair as shiny as the GHD's and pull your hair out! Another thing that annoyed me was that the LED light doesn't flash when they are ready to use so I used to leave them switched on for about 15 mins before I used them to make sure they were hot. As a first set of straighteners they would be great, but I was used to GHD's so anything less than them now are just not good enough for me now! If I had never had use of GHD's these would have been fab but I am constantly comparing them to GHD's now! Although in their defence they are a lot better than some other more expensive starightners that are on the market, and miles better than the old babyliss straighteners that you had to fill with water that pulled chunks out of your hair!!

    hi, i wanted to but some ghds but after reading so many reviews about them blowing up i got scared lol. these straighteners seem like a dream every reviewer is so pleased with them, i want to know though how long does your hair stay poker straight for?
