General Comments

I have had my BSA Super Star for years, not really sure when I bought it, maybe 1990 or 1991. She is .22, I bought it with a 3-9x40 Bisley scope and 1 piece mount. The scope died and the one piece mount has long gone. I now use a Simmons Whitetail Classic Compact 1.5-5x20 scope. I have a silencer fitted but cannot remember the manufacturer name. Fitting of this required scope adjustment. I had the rifle chrono'd 4 years ago using Field Target Trophy pellets and 11.9 was the power reading on the original factory fitted spring!
She does not like Prometheus, Eley Wasp 5.56mm (blue tin) as she fires all over the place. BUT Eley Wasps 5.50mm (pinkish purple tin) and Field Target Trophy she is a dead shot up to 35 yards.
I have had a BSA Super10, BSA Spitfire and an ASI Magnum and they are the ones to have gone back to the shop where I bought them from. But I'd always keep going back to the Super Star. If only I'd have known about the Gold Star!!

If you like springers and don't mind the extra weight of an underlever, get one, you will not be disappointed!!
